Flintshire U3A have been awarded a donation of £1660 from the Coop Community Fund.

The grant was awarded for the purchase of equipment for the Words, Music and Song group. The equipment will allow them to take their performances into the Community.

The presentation was made today by Tania Tolson and Suzanne Malone on behalf of the Coop Community Fund.
Tania, the store manager of the Mold Branch of the Coop is shown here presenting the award to John House, the coordinator or the Words, Music and Song group. Also pictured are Suzanne and members of the committee of FU3A and members of the WM&S group.

Sincere thanks to the Coop and the people who made it happen.

What's New Calendar

The University of the Third Age (U3A) is an international self-help organisation for retired and semi-retired people, in their Third Age. It provides educational, creative and leisure opportunities in lifelong learning. The success of each U3A is that they draw on the knowledge, experience and skills of their own members.

Flintshire U3A is a vibrant association of groups, which meet to offer a wide variety of activities and interests.
These meetings also offer a chance to make new friends, share interests and develop new skills in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
