April 2018 Updates
Unfortunately the Flintshire U3A Annual General Meeting 2018, scheduled for April 5th 2018 was not quorate and consequently could not take place.

In order to reach a quorum we needed 15%  of our paid up membership to be present.
We needed 104 members to be present but only 94 members attended.

The A.G.M. is a requirement of the The Third Age Trust and the Charities Commission.

A.G.Ms are necessary to allow for new officers to be be elected on to the committee and for business from the Third Age Trust, that requires a members vote, to take place.

The A.G.M. Will now be held as an Emergency General Meeting at the end of the
June 7

At the EGM  there will be an election for the role of Secretary to Flintshire U3A  and committee members.

We need as many of our members as possible to attend the June meeting.
