Music Live (formerly Words, Music and Song)
The ‘Words, Music and Song’ group has changed its name again …….to ‘Music Live’
It’s about discovering and developing musical skills – learning, playing and performing.
We play folk music, blues, pop - and ethnic drumming – and aspire to writing our own material.
Anyone’s welcome, regardless of expertise. We support learning on guitar, ukulele and drumming.
Thanks to funding from the Coop, we’ve bought some African and Latin percussion plus an Irish bodhran and a concertina.
If you’re interested in playing, singing or drumming our kind of music, please get in touch.
We’re particularly keen to meet someone who can play violin in a folky style.
Our meetings are usually from 12 – 3 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month at Mold Methodist Church. Please check if you’re planning your first visit.
Music sessions cost £1/hour. Drumming sessions cost £4/hour.
