Open Meetings will take place at Connah’s Quay Civic Hall.

Arrival is from  10am for 10.30am  start.

All members are welcome!  Don't forget the Book/CD/DVD Exchange!

If you wish to bring your own reusable cup/mug from home please do so. This will help to reduce the impact on the environment.

Flintshire U3A 2018 AGM - Thursday 14th March 2019

10:00am for 10:30am at Connah’s Quay Civic Centre

The meeting will begin promptly at 10:30 am with a short Talk on Dementia from Sheila Powell. of Owlcymru. Who have+50 Support Workers

There are committee vacancies:- for the role of Chairman and Treasurer and three Committee Members.

Nominations are invited from all our membership. Please note that nominations and voting may only be made by current members of FU3A.

Members will be requested to sign in at the meeting and should have their membership cards with them.

Nomination forms can be obtained online here Word or PDF, or from our secretary Stuart Murray at they should be completed by 18th February 2018 and be returned to Stuart.

Items for discussion under any other business should also be submitted in writing before 18th February and returned to our secretary Stuart Murray at

Copies of the Minutes of the 2018 AGM, the Treasurer’s Report for 2018 and the Agenda for the 2019 AGM will be made available here in due course.

When we had to cancel and reschedule the AGM last year, the first EGM wasn't quorate and we weren't able to vote on important changes to our Constitution, voting finally took place at an EGM at the beginning of the June Open Meeting.

The A.G.M. is a extremely important it is a legal requirement under our constitution. It essential that as many of our members as possible attend.

There is a public car park off the high street, just before the  Connah’s Quay Library.

The current charge is 50p for three hours.
